COOLRUDYVIA^® DS38 air vent plug is composed of oil repellent modified COOLRUDYVIA^® waterproof air vent membrane and HDPE plastic, which are combined to form a large volume air vent plug through ultrasonic or hot melt methods. It can achieve a balance between the internal and external pressure differences of solution packaging and prevent it from being concave or bulging.

For container lids without holes, the gas will pass through the porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) venting membrane, reach the area above the venting membrane, and then be guided to the threaded position of the container lid to escape, while preventing liquids and particles from entering the packaging.

For a perforated container lid, the gas will pass through the porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) venting membrane and escape through the holes in the container lid, while preventing liquids and particles from entering the packaging. The porous expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) venting membrane prevents pressure buildup by continuously balancing the pressure difference between the inside of the container and the external environment.
